Colin is an experienced Performance Coach. His passion is for people and the delivery of business results through the engagement and commitment of all the staff within a business. It is this attention to leaders and their staff, valuing their role and contribution to an organisation that turns average performers into great leaders.
Following a career in the energy and utilities industry in the UK and northern Europe, Colin established his leadership and coaching practice in 2005. He was formerly Operations Director for the UK energy supply business of British Gas as part of the Centrica group of companies and held roles as Business Programme Director and Commercial Director in other group companies. Colin uses his broad experience in leadership, along with high level coaching qualifications, to work with business leaders from a position of understanding and empathy. He has significant experience in leading large numbers of people to deliver focused business results through the engagement and development of the individual's skills. He is also Director of Career Development at Cranfield University School of Management working with the full time MBA and MSc student programmes.
Colin has significant international experience as a coach and works with a broad range of clients, both teams and individuals, from many countries across Europe. His style is intuitive, confident, challenging, and pragmatic, bringing together coaching skills and business experience to enable leaders to move their leadership performance to new levels.
He holds Advanced Coaching Diploma qualifications and is accredited in Emotional Intelligence as well as being a Licensed Heartmath 1:1 Provider
Colin has played cricket and golf for many years and has an active interest in most sports, including coaching the mental aspects of performance. He cycles and swims to keep fit and enjoys reading and cooking in his spare time. He lives in Buckinghamshire and has two children.
